To complete our “holiday lakwatsa”- Jelai’s last stop together with our Cutie Princess is in “Snow World” at Star City!!!
It’s a tradition for us that we have our little Nicoli visit a Christmas attraction. So we definitely could not miss out for this year!
For 160, you could visit Star City plus Snow World! (P60 for the entrance fee and hundred pesos for the entrance at Snow World itself)
It was an absolutely long line specially since we went on a Saturday! But it’s worth the wait! Before entering the waiting area before the door to Snow World, we were provided with jackets, my little Coli too was provided with a jacket though for extra precaution we bought her a jacket of her own. We were counted and asked to stay and keep close so as to keep warm then we were given earlier instructions and precautions. And in a little while…the door opened! Welcome to Snow World!!!
Jeff, Nicole and I were just too excited! This is the real thing! We went around and there was real snow, real ice sculpture plus add the snow slide! Amazing! And it was freaking cold! The entire place was 16 degrees Celsius that even when you talk or breathe smoke comes out from your lips due to the cold. Now we know how it feels to live in the US! (we wondered how can we stand the cold when were freezing at 16 degrees)
As a rule no cameras, cellphones and videocams are allowed but since we were hard headed, we still used our phone cameras to take pics but just a few so as not to get noticed and apprehended. We went around, took pictures and had fun! We were supposed to try the slide but there were just too many people! My poor Nicole only had 2 layers of jacket and I felt that she’s beginning to feel very cold plus both our noses are turning red! So before transforming into a Rudolf the red nose reindeer we headed for the exit door! It was purely fun!
Below are few of the pics we were able to take inside:
